While we were in Munich we saw Uncle Karl several times. We tried to get him to go out to dinner, but he didn't really want. So, we ended up bringing food back to the apartment for him. Even though he usually said that he wasn't hungry he always seemed to enjoy what we brought, especailly the deserts! He is moving very slowly now days and no doubt he is lonely - since most of the time he is alone in his apartment.

That is so sad to see Uncle Karl not looking or feeling so good. I bet he really appreciates you guys going over to see him. I am glad you guys were able to meet up with Dads siblings, I am sure that was a very neat experience. We sure did miss calling you every day while you were gone though! Can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks! Love ya!
