On Friday we said good-bye to our last puppy. The last one that we found a home for was our only male survivor. We called him Jr. because he reminded us so much of Max.
Most likely our "puppy days" our over! Even though we had fun with both bunches of puppies, the poopies weren't so fun. I'm sure that my laundry room will never be the same!
The people that bought Jr. were from Green River...................this is Linda and Jr. when she came to pick him up. It does give us some pleasure to know that he will fill an empty spot in the home of these very nice people. They had to have their 15 year -old Schnauzer put to sleep recently and their other dog has been so sad! She did call on Sunday to give us an update and assure us that he has adjusted well to his new home. We sure hope that all of the new puppy
owners love their new pets as much as we love our dogs.

And here is another glimpse from the past. This picture of Helmut was taken at the Bingham Ranch in Veyo in 1988. So handsome!

Just a few weeks ago Helmut turned 59! I thought that you might
like to see how cute he was about 55 years ago. Does this sweet
little face remind you any of our grandchildren?

Seth, Cairen and their girls came from Las Vegas over Labor Day weekend to get a puppy! It was so fun to have them here. Meika is so excited to take "Ella" home. We will miss that cute little puppy with short legs, but we are really happy that we will still get to see her now and then.

We still have 1 male and 1 female...........any takers?

The original plan for labor day was to go fishing.........but it was a cold rainy day. So, we started the day off with breakfast at Magelby's.........the tables inside were all ful. So, no problem, there are plenty of tables outside..........but it was so cold that we felt like we were camping. Eventually we relocated to Erik and Kim's house. This is a picture of MaClane and Sienna waiting out in the cold for breakfast before decided it was going to be too cold!
